Poetry This quarter, students are diligently studying poetry. As the time nears for conferences, students are hard at work explaining and illustrating themes of some of their favorite poems they have read over the last couple weeks. At this age, their body and emotions are changing rapidly. Here are some ways to help them cope. Physical growth and worries about friends, sports, and schoolwork can cause moodiness. He or she might close their bedroom door or walk outside to take a phone call, for example.
One such factor is the wind chill on a given day. On particularly cold mornings we continuously monitor the National Weather Service and closely monitor the weather conditions. There are two possible scenarios that come from the National Weather Service: Wind Chills between and degrees and at least a wind of 10 MPH or more.
